A solo exhibition at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie, Paris, spanning multiple projects and years of Capitán’s work.

Displayed across the historic museum, this was the first show curated by Simon Baker after becoming its director. It presented a comprehensive picture of works in photography, painting, writing, video, sculpture, and installation.

The series Middle Point Between my House and China was presented especially, for the first time in a museum, echoing Ren Hang’s work on display elsewhere in the MEP.

As an extension to the show, Capitán worked with renowned publishers Loose Joints on an experimental catalogue, with hand-annotations and interventions by the artist giving it a playful feel that matches her work’s sentiment.
